OUR TRUSTEES

It has been a long time since we have had Court appointed Trustees of our Marae. 

New Trustees were appointed by the Maori Land Court on 25 June 2020.

There is a lot to do.  It will take time. 

​

All of the Trustees have the passion, skill and commitment to make up for the lost time.  There are legal compliance issues to urgently address, however, the Trustees see their overarching role is to support the hapū to develop and strengthen Pāroa Marae. 

The goal is for our marae to become an inspiration to others, particularly to our rangatahi.
